We know that it is hard always to be up-to-date when it comes to technology and especially AI. This is why we thought we would approach this month's AI news segment a little differently and show you AI tools & developments that are emerging βœ¨

Keep in mind that in some circumstances, the tools themselves could be abandoned. However, the use cases and technology behind them won't. So keep your eyes open πŸ‘€

1) Runway

Runway is a content creation and editing suite that provides powerful AI tools to generate or edit your videos.

The tool has caused the most stir with its text-to-video feature and the ability to swap or make objects disappear simply by selecting them in a video. Learn more about Runway in our recent reel or on Runwayml.com βœ‚️

2) GPT-3 (or GPT-4 πŸ‘€)

GPT-3 is an autoregressive language model that produces human-like texts using deep learning πŸ§
We've been mentioning GPT-3 and its capabilities for 2 full years now. And the next step to GPT-4, which could be coming very soon, will outshine everything we have seen so far.

If you are not yet familiar with the technology and function of a Language Model, now is your chance - again!

3) Meta's Cicero

Cicero is less a tool that you can actively use and more an AI development that everyone should be aware of.

To quote Meta: "Cicero is the first AI to achieve human-level performance in Diplomacy, a strategy game which requires building trust, negotiating and cooperating with multiple players" πŸ€

✨ Meta Quest Pro: Savior or bad omen?

alt_text

Zuckerberg and Meta took a giant leap when they made the metaverse and virtual reality their main "theme."

Since then, Meta has poured billions into these industries but has lost a lot of value on the stock market. The much-hyped new AR/VR glasses Quest Pro are supposed to turn the tide for Meta. But according to recent reviews, this strategy doesn't seem to have been entirely successful πŸ‘Ž

πŸ‘¨‍πŸ’» Nike unveils Web3 project platform ‘Dot Swoosh’

alt_text

SWOOSH is Nike's new self-proclaimed "community experience platform" designed to give users the opportunity to co-create the future of Nike.

The platform is planned to be a place for people to show off and trade phygital (physical+digital) and virtual products. Other benefits, such as exclusive access to events and co-created items, will gradually find their place there as well.

And even though the platform is heavily inspired by RTFKT*, Swoosh is actually a Nike-only project. However, collaborations are not excluded πŸ˜‰

*reminder that Nike bought the "virtual sneaker" company RTFKT one year ago
