⚑ Freemium limitations incoming

alt_text

With NeontooolsPro being fully implemented by April 3rd, the new limitations for freemium users will also go live on said date.

That's why we advise you to use the few days left to get informed about the changes and either switch to the premium plan or prepare your account accordingly β˜οΈ

If you are still unsure, don't worry: you may lose access to some content, but it will not be deleted and reappear fully when you upgrade to NeontoolsPro.

Go check out the upcoming limitations and decide if you are ready to go Pro πŸ‘‡

πŸ“Š Google and Microsoft implement AI into their services

alt_text

The third week of March might have been the most PACKED week of AI news ever πŸ€―

It all started with Google announcing the implementation of AI into their Workspace products, followed quickly by Microsoft presenting their direct competitor solution Microsoft 365 Copilot.

At the same time, OpenAI rolled out GPT-4 for paying users. And Stanford University dropped Alpaca, a small and cheap to reproduce instruction-following model that behaves similarly to OpenAI's DaVinci.

If any of this is news to you, we strongly recommend you look at these tools and get familiar with what is coming. Because this is the future, and it is becoming a reality as we speak.

🀯 ChatGPT Plugins

alt_text

Quickly after the GPT-4 release, OpenAI announced the implementation and release of ChatGPT-Plugins. Meaning that users can now extend the functions of ChatGPT by combining it with new features and even third-party tools.

Some examples are features that allow it to search the internet, upload images and videos and even interact with (manipulate) these files.

We could write entire essays here on how groundbreaking this is for the AI space... But look at it as the first app store on AI-steroids. Paying close attention to this development is an absolute must! Start with this 2-minute explanation and go from there πŸ‘‡

🐀 Elon Musk pushing Twitter Blue and algorithm overhaul

alt_text

We came across many different news this month regarding Twitter Blue and the Twitter algorithm. Starting with Elon Musk's statement that the Algorithm will become Open-Source by the end of March.

And followed by news on how Twitter will prioritize replies:

Despite early hiccups and a complex ranking algorithm, Musk and his team are charging ahead, hoping to reduce reliance on ad revenue and free Twitter from "the whims of corporate America." But so far, Twitter Blue is only raking in $3.6 million a month. And the big question remains: Will it ever be worth it for the average user? πŸ¦πŸ’™πŸ€”

🌍 Is Social Media becoming less public?

alt_text

In a short article by SocialMediaToday, Andrew Hutchinson states that more and more Social Media discussions are moving into messengers and private groups.

Even though we don't have any statistics or data on this topic at the moment, we agree that posting public is becoming less and less "persuasive" and that we increasingly resort to posting and communicating in closed groups too.

So if this finally becomes a general truth for most users, it's probably time marketers adapt to this trend. A trend that should not be particularly surprising to you since we have been advising you to get your own closed community running for months at this point πŸ˜†
