📽️ Youtube's new podcast platform rolling out for US users

Youtube has started rolling out a podcast dedicated "explore page" in the US.

Even though the whole thing seems to be very rudimentary at this point, it is clear that finding new podcasts will be a lot easier.

But what interests us more is the question of whether podcast content will be mixed with other content in the future (both on Youtube and in the Youtube Music app) or if podcasts will get a separate feed 🤔

📱 Instagram continues to row back on "fullscreen feeds"

You might remember the segment in an older newsletter where we made fun of Instagram's efforts to copy TikTok's fullscreen feed 🤡

Since the release of the first tests, we have seen many new statements in which Instagram is slowly rowing back. The latest idea to not stop it all right away: A switch!
